Dr. Raj Kishor Khaware
Founder and Chairman
Raj Khaware is a visionary filmmaker, tech entrepreneur, and strategic investor shaping the future of global storytelling and innovation. His films have premiered at top international festivals, including Cannes and the Toronto International Film Festival.
In the technology and climate-innovation arena, Raj leads as a founder building AI-driven and sustainability-focused ventures, backing transformative ideas with long-term impact. He is also actively stitching together a world-class, cross-continental creative and technical team to produce content for a global audience – uniting talent, markets, and cultures under one powerful vision.
With his unique blend of artistic mastery, technological leadership, and sharp investment insight, Raj stands at the intersection of film, tech, and global impact, shaping the next era of storytelling and innovation. Raj holds his bachelor's degree from Delhi University and his doctoral degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University in life sciences. He completed his post-doctoral studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Utpal Acharya
Chief Executive Officer
Utpal Acharya is an eminent producer and media-preneur, in the last two decades he has been part of almost all premium Studios and multiplex chains, that exist in India including Sony Pictures, UTV, Viacom18, INOX and Reliance Entertainment. He also had a global assignment with Cinepolis Gulf heading their Box Office, Programming and Sales. He has been a part of more than 800 films in almost all languages of India plus Hollywood movies.
Utpal specialises in releasing, sales, acquisitions, distribution, revenue monetisation, syndication and production of films and content. Some of the films that he has worked for include Singham, Spider-Man, Ghajini, Don2, Men in Black, Monsoon Wedding, Swades, Rang de Basanti, Khosla Ka Ghosla, Jodha Akbar, Singh is King, Jab We Met, Bodyguard, Holiday, Talaash, Jaatiswar, Buno Haans, Manam, Attarintiki Daredi & Adhinayakudu. His out-of-box approach to optimise content creation and monetisation have built his reputation as an experienced content-preneur.
Varun Jotwani
Executive Producer
Varun Jotwani is an Executive Producer at Content Engineers, bringing over a decade of experience from the financial services industry. His career has been defined by strategic decision-making in complex and fast-paced market environments. This disciplined analytical approach is rooted in his academic background; he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University with a degree in Chemical Engineering.
As an Executive Producer, Varun provides the strategic insight that helps shape the Content Engineers slate. He applies his financial acumen to evaluate the commercial viability and structure of each potential film, while also lending his creative perspective to story analysis. This creative perspective is deeply personal; as an immigrant to the U.S., film and television were his gateway to understanding a new culture, fueling a lifelong passion for the power of narrative. His goal is to champion projects that succeed on this dual foundation—marrying a powerful story with a sound financial strategy to connect with audiences worldwide.
Shivraj Khaware
Co Founder, Managing Partner
Shivraj with 18 years of multi-entrepreneurial expertise and an MBA has worn multiple hats. He brings the best expertise to synergise various aspects and facets of businesses to their greatest optimisation.
A philanthropist at heart, a singer and musician is the backbone of a Silicon Valley based tech enterprise and uses tech to optimise and stitch many businesses together including food, fashion and entertainment out of many. Shivraj in his initial days has served many financial organisations including Citi Bank and DBS – Chola Mandalam. He is very hands on and approachable entrepreneur always ready with best practical solution of global standards.
Kunal Khaware
Creative Executive
Kunal Khaware is a Creative Executive at Content Engineers. He focuses on exploring the intersection of storytelling and social impact through producing both Bollywood and Hollywood films. Kunal is also a Robertson Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University, where he studies political science and economics. Kunal began his political journey campaigning at the community and national levels, eventually working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
Kunal directly worked on CE's recent film, “Eleanor the Great,” Scarlett Johansson's directorial debut released in Fall 2025, while also producing the upcoming British Drama, & Sons, directed by former Venice Film Festival winner, Pablo Trapero, and written by Oscar winner, Sarah Polley.
Kumar Kaustubh
Creative Supervisor
Kumar Kaustubh is a versatile writer, storyteller, and filmmaker with a profound passion for the intersection of literature and cinema. As the author of seven novels published in both Hindi and English, his literary work has gained international recognition, being showcased at prestigious global events such as the World Book Fairs in Delhi, London, and Frankfurt. His professional cinematic experience spans screenplay development, dialogue, and plot construction, having served as an assistant writer and director on various feature films and digital series. Beyond mainstream productions, Kaustubh has directed several short films and documentaries, earning acclaim for his sensitive exploration of cultural rituals and the emotional layers of traditional community life.
